It’s All About Creating the Illusion of Depth

Pictured with me is my good friend and talented artist Cory Anderson. The acoustic diffusion panel between us began with an idea we had more than six months ago: why can’t acoustic treatment also be original artwork?

Using standard 24” × 24” Vicoustic diffuser panels, Cory created an image of Miles Davis that appears and changes depending on your viewing angle.

Acoustic diffusion helps disperse unwanted sound reflections and creates a greater sense of space and depth in the music. Cory’s artwork does something very similar visually.

The result is a unique combination of art and acoustics.

If you’d like to improve your listening room while adding something truly personal, think about an artist or musician you’d love to see brought to life.

We can help do the rest.
