Jim Lee

I started in the audio business spring of 1978. While attending W.S.U. as a geology major I found myself broke, bored and between semesters. I took a summer job in Spokane as a stereo installer. I tell my friends it has been a long and fun summer.

I always loved music, movies and was fortunate to grow up in a home where both were considered an important part of life. I remember first being exposed to “high end audio” at a friend’s home. He had some old Mac and Klipsh gear. I knew immediately after my first listening session I was hooked.

I started playing around with building tube amps buying the best equipment I could afford and continue to do so to this day. I cannot tell you what a pleasure it is being able to help my customers purchase what is considered the absolute best in home entertainment. The manufacturers I do business with are so driven and have such rewarding attitude to be around.  I believe our nitch at Nuts About Hi Fi is that we all love what we do.
